“Once the Most Beautiful Bond Girl, You Won’t Believe How She Looks at 75—Prepare to Be Amazed!”

Barbara Goldbach, born in Queens, New York, was the daughter of Howard, a policeman, and Marjorie Goldbach. In 1966, while working as a model, she met Italian businessman Augusto Gregorini in New York. She later moved to Italy to be with him, and they married in 1968. The couple had two children, Francesca and Gianni. Gianni was born with complications due to the umbilical cord being wrapped around his neck, leading to a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, though a later surgery improved his condition.

Barbara and Augusto separated in 1975 when she moved to Los Angeles, and they officially divorced in 1978, sharing custody of their children. While working on a comedy film in 1981, Barbara met musician Ringo Starr, and the two became close during the filming. They were on holiday in December 1980 when they received the tragic news of John Lennon’s passing and traveled to New York to support Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon. Barbara and Ringo married in April 1981.

Barbara’s acting career took off in Italy, where she appeared in a television adaptation of an ancient epic. She starred alongside other notable actresses in a mystery film and played roles in several other Italian productions. In 1977, she gained significant recognition for portraying a secret agent in a popular spy film. She also appeared in a war movie the following year, alongside well-known actors of the time.
